Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis (Big Stinky)

Orchid mounted to cork tube on repurposed weighted stand. These orchids grow large pseudobulbs and have some of the longest leaves in their family. A stunning specimen even when not in bloom. The setup measures 28" x 12" with the plant dangling 13" from root to tip of current longest leaf. Given right conditions this plant will get big and blooms will be stinky. That's its charm.
